It has been confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, but the New Orleans Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for actor Russell Brand for “simple criminal damage” in the amount of $700. The warrant stems from an altercation Brand reportedly had with a paparazzo Monday night around 6:50 p.m. According to MTV, Brand snatched the photographer’s phone and threw it out the window of a local law firm — though the NOPD could not confirm these details...such a sassy guy!
