Talk about some major flops. Tom Cruise and his Rock of Ages and Adam Sandler and his That's My Boy had very disappointing opening weekends. Despite all the promotions and a star-studded cast, including Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand, Rock of Ages took in only $15.1 million to finish in third place. That's My Boy came in a dismal fifth place, taking in $13 million. Holding strong on stop of the leader board are Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and Prometheus, taking in $35.5 million and $20.2 million respectively. In fourth is holdover Snow White and the Huntsman, which took in $13.8 million.
