The 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards were broadcast live tonight on HLN and the big winner of the night was General Hospital, who took home five trophies. The biggest story of the night was that of Regis Philbin, who retired in November after almost 30 years on the air. Live with Regis and Kelly won for best talk show and they both won for best talk show host!
