Comedy Central and MTV Networks announced the inaugural presentation of The Comedy Awards. They described it as "the first-ever multi-network, multi-platform, annual event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the world of comedy." Such a cool concept. The Comedy Awards will tape at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on March 26 and will air on Sunday, April 10. Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land, VH1 and Nick-at-Nite will all simultaneously broadcast the program. About time they give props to comedy!!!
