yet, the unemployment rate rose from 9.7 percent to 9.9 percent for the month of April. How is this possible???
The Labor Department said on Friday that a burst of hiring added a net 290,000 jobs in April, the most since March 2006. This sudden burst also got people off the couches and back looking for jobs, so the jobless rate rose from 9.7 percent to 9.9 percent.
An improvement though....maybe there is still hope I can find a job using my degree!
