I stated this before, but here I am again saying it. Say whatever you may want about the president and how you think he may be doing a shitty job, but you can only do so much with the cards you are dealt and he is working his ass off to try and make better of a situation that truly sucked balls.
Now, President Obama is again bringing the U.S. into the year 2010 and has ordered the Department of Health and Human Services to establish a rule that would not allow hospitals to deny visitation privileges to gay and lesbian partners.
Obama stated that gay and lesbian Americans "are often barred from the bedsides of the partners with whom they may have spent decades of their lives - unable to be there for the person they love, and unable to act as a legal surrogate if their partner is incapacitated."
Amen Mr. President! This is one man I am proud to say I voted for!!!
