A Sad Story

To sum it up: a mom, serving as designated driver for her boyfriend, gets pulled over by a cop in Chicago. She has a suspended license, so she gets arrested. The cop gives the keys to the drunk boyfriend to drive himself and her 5-year-old son home. Forty minutes after that initial traffic stop, the man veers off the road and slams into a tree killing the boy.

How sad is this story? I am so torn also on who is to blame. The mom should have told the cop that her boyfriend was drunk and not have allowed him to drive her 5-year-old son home. The cop should not have given the keys to a man that ended up being three times over the legal limit to drive. The man should not have driven the car knowing he was that drunk and high and had a 5-year-old boy in the back seat. This whole incident had so many stupid people involved it is sickening! And in the end, a 5-year-old boy was killed because of these idiots. What a waste!

Census Worker Or Not?

According to police in Houston, a man was killed and his family members were beaten after three suspects barged into their home Saturday afternoon.

One of the killers posed as a census worker to get entry into the home.

So, during this time while the country tries to count how many people are living in this fine country, be safe on who is coming to your door to get that information and who you let into your household.

A Great Time To Be Catholic

Today, the Sunday school teacher in California accused of kidnapping, raping and killing an 8-year-old playmate of her daughter, then stuffing the body in a suitcase, pleaded guilty to murder.

She had other charges dropped by pleading guilty, including two involving rape and lewd or lascivious conduct with a child under 14 and charges she previously drugged a 7-year-old girl and a 37-year-old man, whom police believe she had been dating.

She was in church every Sunday teaching your kids. This is another fine example of the kind of people that seem to be wrapped up in the churches. Makes them lose more and more credibility everyday.
