Booing A Soldier?
So, in the Republican debate last night on Fox News, a gay soldier asked a question regarding the DADT repeal. After his video question was aired, some audience members proceeded to boo him. REALLY? The guy that puts his life on the line daily to make sure you can live with the freedoms you enjoy is the same guy you just booed. This makes me sick. Also, Rick Santorum's answer is just as sick and then the cheers from the audience he receives after that answer is even more sickening. Keep it up Republicans....just keep talking and paving the way for Obama's re-election!!!
Lewis Black Is My Hero
I think this man is pure genius...get past the first part and watch as he defends Chaz Bono....pure love!

Made Me Cry
This is sad...not even 6 months ago he made this video and posted it on youtube and now, because of all the bullying and hatred he had to deal with on a daily basis he killed himself. When will people realize that being gay is not a choice and to accept any human being for who they are because baby, we were born this way.
Made Me Cry
So, X-Factor premiered last night....did you watch??? This audition made me cry like a big girl....so good!

Such An Amazing Thing
On Friday, Cyndi Lauper shed tears at the dedication of her True Colors Residences, New York state's first permanent supportive housing facility for LGBT youth in Harlem. The six-story energy efficient building is located on West 154th Street between Frederick Douglass Boulevard and Macombs Place. Residents of the 30 studio units must be between the ages of 18 and 24 when they enter. They will have access to a computer room, laundry, outdoor space, recreational room and also receive voluntary support services to learn life skills as well as to get help with job training and educational services. The building is part of the Section 8 program which means residents will pay 30 percent of their income in rent. I think this is an amazing thing....way to go Cyndi!

In Honor Of Ten Years
I still can't believe it has been ten years already, but in honor of all those who lost their lives and who continue to fight for us to live ours with the freedoms we enjoy...this video really puts a perspective on how sad this day really was and still is. Proud to be an American!

Blake Shelton Does 'Footloose'
I know this is all in Japanese, but give the song a listen. I fell in love with Blake when he appeared on an episode of Chelsea Lately and then he won me over completely on The Voice. I know the original was amazing, but if they are gonna remake the movie, they need a remake of the song. I LOVE IT!!!! What do you all think???

I Wouldn't Mind Her So Much
This Makes Me Smile
Ben & Jerry's announced today that "Schweddy Balls" ice cream is on its way to store shelves across the country. Yes, yes, yes!!! It may be a little old now, but one of my favorite SNL skits is making it's way to the ice cream aisle. The flavor is made up of "vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum and is loaded with fudge covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls." I hate malt balls, but I will definitely have to get some Schweddy Balls in my mouth when it comes out!!

Stupid, Stupid People
So, let's hate on someone for trying to become the person they feel most comfortable being? I'm glad Chaz Bono didn't come to you for help, Dr. Ablow. So, the doctor is informing parents to not let their children watch Dancing With The Stars because Chaz will be dancing on it this season. Forget the fact that the women dancers have like a strip covering up their tittie...that's fine, but because a transexual is on the show, keep your kids away from the tv sets. How people function in life with these mindsets is beyond me.
